First Draft of the Website

This is the first draft of our website for our DJ, Existence. We wanted it to be very colourful and have a good interactivity with the public that will be very easy to navigate. we will have pages such as News, Biography and more. More posts will appear to show the development of this website.

First copy of the Locations within our video

Below will be the list of places that we want to look at for the shooting of our film. They will be explained what we will use them for and the tome of day we need them.

• Formby beach/woods: This will be the main setting for our video. This is where the main dancing/partying will be happening. Because of this we will need to shoot in the day around 11am and then a bit later but not too dark so around 6 pm. In the morning the shots will show just the girl looking into the scenes of when she had the time with the "wild boy". Later on when its dark we will film that night that they had and we will be going back and forth to present and past. The beach will mainly be used for the setting and effect of how alone she is at the start in the present day. But the woods will be used for the party and the main location.
  

 

 

• Liverpool town (Bold street - possibly): This will be for the second part of the song. We will again show the girl on her own looking glum thinking about the time she had with her ex boyfriend and how much she misses him. The time will the shift to when they are enjoying life and are happy together, smiling and such. We don't want to see the rush of Liverpool with the flood of people that it attracts, so because of this we have decided to go to do the footage fairly early.

Our Logo

This is our chosen logo for our artist, Existence. We have decided to keep it very simple and remunerable to anyone who sees the "Big X". When researching other house artists we have noticed that they all keep it very simple and not go to extreme in terms of design. Avicii's is just 2 triangles side by side and Hardwell is just his name in bold text. So it was just an easy choice to keep Existence's logo very cute design.

Start of the Story board

This is the first 21 seconds of our video story board that we have sat down and discussed. The first 15 seconds of the video is just soft slow music so we are going to shoot 5 different stills just to get the viewer knowing the setting and what is about to come, also it will illustrate how deserted the setting is and that the girl is alone. Then, when the music and vocals kick in, we see our main character firstly just looking on in to the woods and then a closer angle of  where she is looking. This is just the start of our storyboard and we will post regularly with updates.

Existence T Shirt

This is the first merchandise that we have created for our artist. We have kept this simple and easy for the design of our T Shirt. We want the fans to be able to see this big X and link it straight away to Existence. This simple design will feature on most of the merchandise we make so that the symbol is linked with the artist as soon as possible.
