Possible design for our album cover

This is my first goat a Digipack front cover. i have used this image because i feel that the logo and artist are in a very central point when viewing with the "X" and Existence in the image with space for text above, below and besides the image. I wanted to make sure that the text was bold and clearly outlined for the audience to see, making sure that it is eye catching and appealing.

Pictures we could use for our digipack and website

Here are just as few pictures that we have took, to use in both our website and Digipack. as we trying to create a certain house style it is important to us that the pictures are from the same or near enough the same shoot.

What is a Digipack?

Digipacks are a type of CD packaging made out of card stock or other heavy paper/cardboard material. Digipacks can flip open like a book, or it can have three parts, so that one portion of the packaging opens to the right and one to the left, with the CD in the center portion. Usually, the portion of the digipack that hold the CD is made of plastic like a traditional jewel case CD - the plastic part is simply attached to the paper background.

We have looked at the likes of Avicii and Calvin Harris when looking for the best digipack that we can gather information and inspiration from. The albums "18 Months" and "True" are something that we can use because of the similarities that we have taken from them as an artist.

Change in Plan

Due to the complications and the unrelated performance that we had filmed in terms of our video we have decided to change a lot of video. Our plan now is to feature the DJ more in the video, as we have looked up in our research, the likes of Calvin Harris and Avicii are in a large amount of the video. To do this we feel we needed him to be doing something fast paced and able to work well with the chorus of our video. so again taking Calvin Harris in the video "we'll be coming back", there are both  a car and motorbike. We felt this to be a good idea as it provided speed and acceleration as the beat come in to the song. With this in mind, we used Scott's bike (DJ) and rode it around our town. We set out an idea that he is on his way to his photo-shoot in front of his logo, and by the end of the video he reached his destination. We have also reduced the amount of cast as the plans have changed. the full cast is
  • Kieran Givens
  • Scott Greenwood
  • Rosa Webberley
