Planning Camera Shots
The first five scenes that we will shoot are going to be establishing shots of the scenery in Formby such as the beach and the woods to get a feel for the environment of the film, straight away in the first 5 seconds. After this we will see our character for the first time which will be a mid shot of her waist up to show her clear expression and also background fitted in. As the music progresses we will be using more shots to expresses her feelings and expression such as close ups and more mid shots, however we will be adding a few long shots to show the environment and the setting that she is in, so the viewers get a full idea of where she is and how alone she is. When it goes back to the past and darker, we use a various amount of different shots and angles to get a wider idea of the dancing and the movement of the actors some low and some high, to create the idea of speed and diversity. This process continues as we see the man and woman in the shopping centre together.
